Our values

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is of paramount importance to companies, as it promotes sustainable and ethical development. This approach helps to build trust among stakeholders and generate lasting value for all parties involved. Lazard Frères Gestion has a CSR Committee made up of ten members representing the company's various business lines.

Our commitments

Despite progress made in terms of equality, finance remains a sector where women are still underrepresented. From the outset of financial studies in schools, female students are fewer in number than their male counterparts, which then affects their presence in companies. At Lazard Frères Gestion, we recognize the importance of promoting inclusion and equal opportunities, and we are committed to encouraging more women to pursue careers in finance, from their studies through to leadership positions.

Women now represent nearly half of our total workforce, a figure that reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining gender balance at all levels of the organization. This balance is supported by fair recruitment and promotion policies, as well as training and awareness initiatives aimed at strengthening a culture of equality and inclusion within our company.

We achieved a score of 81/100 on the gender equality index, demonstrating our commitment to ensuring equal opportunities at all levels of the company.

Created in 2020, the Foundation works to protect and promote artistic and cultural heritage. Its initiatives focus on three areas: restoring works of art, supporting educational projects, and promoting the role of women in artistic creation.

The “Lazard s'engage” initiative brings together a series of solidarity actions carried out by Lazard's three entities in Paris: Lazard Frères, Lazard Frères Gestion, and Lazard Frères Banque. The three firms organize employee donation drives, matched by the group, to support humanitarian efforts by the Red Cross, Restos du Coeur, and the HAFB association. Lazard is also taking broader action in response to humanitarian emergencies. One notable example was the strong participation of employees at the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, which enabled the Red Cross to carry out humanitarian actions both on the ground and outside Ukraine to welcome refugees.

Employees from Lazard Paris compete under a common banner in races organized in the heart of the capital (Paris Marathon, Ekiden, and La Parisienne, linked to the fight against breast cancer). This is an opportunity to build team spirit beyond the everyday workplace.
